Katikati Transport Network — Bus Route Changes to S2, S3 and S5 Kia ora whānau, We’re writing to let you know about some changes to three of our bus routes — S2, S3 and S5 — that will take effect on Tuesday 28 April (the first school day of week 2, term 2). These changes have been made to better balance the operating times across the three services and to manage passenger numbers effectively. What’s changing: S5 will now travel directly to and from Ōmokoroa. S2 will now include Esdaile Road and Wainui South Road. S3 will now include Lockington Road. Updated route schedules, including pick-up times and bus stops, can be found here at katikati.easybus.nz. Families should look to review their routes and identify any changes to their current services. All routes will operate normally from the first day of Term 2. Please ensure your tamariki are at their stop by the scheduled time.

We have been advised that the bus stops at Kaimai Views and Harbour Ridge will be closed for four weeks for maintenance from 16 March. A temporary stop will be put in place on the western side of Ōmokoroa Road, just south of Ridge Drive. We expect that most students will use this stop. There is a new bus stop on the eastern side of Ōmokoroa Road, further south of Settlers Ave. Students are also welcome to use this stop.
